At Hairplace One, hair and skin care has been a family business for over 40 years. In the early 60's, two brothers teamed together and, along with a great staff of over 20 employees, created a salon; Russell Edwards. Russell Affsa and Edward Affsa both had a unique style; professional but fun; which provided their salon with a family atmosphere that set them above the rest.
After many successful years in Boston, Edward opened a salon in Braintree,while Russell opened Russell Edwards Hairplace One in Quincy. Russell has since retired and passed the torch to his son, Ron, who will continue what Russell and Edward started over 40 years ago. Since the opening in 1973, Hairplace One has provided a special brand of service that has made us one of the most progressive salons on the South Shore. We have long understood that our clients are the most important aspect of our business. That is why at Hairplace One you come first. Our staff is trained in the latest techniques of hair and skin care.
